Membership Application

Send the following information by either snail(surface) mail or email to the following address with specifying that it is an application:

5. Affiliation and position (university and department, in case that you are a student)

8. Date when you will/did pay the membership fee

The annual membership fee is 5,500 Japanese yen (or 3,000 yen if you are a student AND you send a copy of your valid student card in April) plus you need to pay 1,000 to become a member. Please transfer the total amount plus to the following bank. (You may need to pay the handling fee, too.) All transfer should be made in Japanese yen.

We will process your appilcation after we confirm the payment. Note that articles in our journal (Mathematical Linguistics) are mostly in Japanese (an English abstract is provided for Japanese articles).

The journals are issued quarterly, that is, in June, September, December and March.

When you sent application forms and paid the membership fee and entrance fee AND received no journal in three months, please let us know. The address of the office is as follows:
